Roman Storm and his legal team will fight to get him “fully vindicated” after a Manhattan jury found the Tornado Cash developer guilty of conspiring to operate an unlicensed money transmitting business. The jury deliberated for four days after a three-week trial, but was unable to reach a unanimous verdict on the remaining charges against Storm. These charges were conspiracy to commit money laundering and conspiracy to violate international sanctions. “We are grateful the jury did not convict Roman for violating sanctions or laundering money,” said Storm’s lawyer, Brian Klein.
